Funded by HUD, the Urban League provides services at no cost.

The Homeless Assistance Program (HAP) provides one month’s rent to individuals facing eviction due to non-payment. The Housing department also provides discrimination services through the Shenango Valley Community Resource Board (CHRB). The purpose is to implement and monitor fair housing activities in the City of Sharon.

The Urban League is certified by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency to serve as a consumer credit counseling agency under the state’s mortgage assistance program.
